Obra de Caridade da Criança Santa Isabel

To continue with the social projects promoted in Angola, we promoted an end-of-year action which counted on the involvement of all our employees and their families, who contributed by sponsoring each of the 150 children from the Obra de Caridade da Criança Santa Isabel. We personally delivered the kits to all the children during a socializing event where, in addition to the delivery of gifts, we also achieved the orphanage’s main objective of providing those children with a moment of affection and care.

About the home

The Obra de Caridade da Criança Santa Isabel (OCSI) is a social project founded in 1993, leaded by Sister Domingas, whose main interest is to help poor children in the Luanda community. Currently, the Casa da Criança orphanage is home to approximately 150 children and teenagers of up to 18 years old.

Kuzola Childhood Home

Being part of the communities where we operate means a lot to us. We understand that we need to participate in the social and community environment, for we are an integral part of it and, therefore, we also rely on its correct functioning. We have a lot of affection to give back to the Angolan community, whether through donations or by taking a little love and joy, for all the trust they place in us choosing Dinda as their families’ preferred brand! The Lar de Infância Kuzola was amongst the charity works we have chosen to receive our donations. The Home counts on frequent Dinda food donations and, during one of our on-site actions, we have made a delightful socializing event with the children, counting with a lot of music and dancing, and we got to know the facility and the projects they were involved with. Each child received a kit with a Dinda bag containing a toothbrush and toothpaste.

About Lar Kuzola

The Lar de Infância Kuzola is a public institution of social nature that welcomes children between the ages of 0 and 14 years old in vulnerable situations, children abandoned by their families, under protective order and orphans. The home receives, daily, between two and eight unprotected and abandoned children, and has long surpassed its maximum capacity of 250 children, housing today around 350 children! At the home, these children find all the love their consanguineous families have neglected to offer them, so that they can thus continue to dream about a better world tomorrow.

The home counts with programs for reintegration of children into their homes, working also with adoption projects and family locating projects, for missing children to be found by their parents. The home is also concerned about inserting children into schools, as well as offering courses at the institution itself so the children will have an education base that helps them in the future.de 350!

NGO Baluarte

In line with our objective of guaranteeing the well-being of local communities in Angola, Dinda offered essential food to the NGO Baluarte, helping to set up basic food baskets for more than 300 needy families. About the NGO The NGO Baluarte was born with the aim of bringing refuge and strength to the children of an Angolan community called Capollo II. And so it has been since 2017. More than 300 children are receiving assistance, food, tutoring and the Bible, being marked by the love of God.
